An abandoned tower which once was part of a tyre factory. While all buildings have been removed, the tower now is the only remaining building on a huge empty space.

Captured in an abandoned farmhouse which never was touched after the owner commited suicide more than 10 years ago.

Another typical Austrian farmhouse which obviously has been left quite some time ago. Especially the fireplace in the old-fashioned kitchen attracted my attention.

Visiting an abandoned church in Austria. Erected in the early 18th century it now has been deconsecrated. Still, sunrays gleaming through the crown glass panes and dust dancing in the light induce a feeling of tranquility.

Once upon a time this fairy-tale castle must have been a magnificient residence. Fortunately, it has been roofed after some parts of the building collapsed. The complex also includes a chapel, which unfortunately has been heavily vandalized.

A recently abandoned mansion which suggests that the owners must have left all of a sudden. It was rather impressive that nobody so far had taken any of the loose change from the kitchen table. Hopefully it is still there.

Attached to a vacant homestead is a huge garage which accomodates various cars and boats. Surprisingly, a few rooms look as if they had been completely renewed while another one is completely burnt out.
